Day Shift with Jamie Fox is released

Day Shift begins with Bud Jablonski, played by Jamie Foxx, cleaning a pool in the backyard of a house. When the owner leaves the area, he enters the home, fully equipped with tools to get past locked doors and with a shotgun at shoulder height. When he has taken a few steps into the home, he is confronted by an elderly lady who asks what he is doing - a second later Bud pulls the trigger and sends a hail of shots straight into the lady's stomach.

As you might guess, the lady isn't going to take shit and goes after Bud with her supernatural powers.

Bud Jablonski doesn't really want to fight vampires. All he wants is to scrape together enough money to give his 10-year-old daughter a good life. When he hunts vampires on his own, his life comes together, but his luck doesn't last forever and suddenly he has to bring a companion on his adventures - and that really puts a damper on things.
